England have unveiled their new home and away kit ahead of this summer’s European Championship in Germany.
The strips – which will also be worn by the Lionesses and England Para teams in 2024 – were released by the Three Lions on social media this morning.
It comes 88 days before the start of Euro 2024, where Gareth Southgate’s side will look to go one step further than last time when they lost in the final.
The Nike home shirt has a classic, simple white design with a blue trim. While they have turned blue again for the away strip, after the red one that was never used during the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
Fans were quick to make fun of the away kit, insisting it was a ‘copy and paste’ of one of their international rivals.

One fan said: ‘Our away kit is literally a copy and paste of France.’
Another fan said: ‘The England away kit looks like France and the goalkeeper shirt looks like a tangerine.’
Both kits caused mixed reactions on social media, with one Arsenal supporter writing: ‘The home kit is beautiful. The away kit is simply not an England kit. They tried something else, but I’m not sure.’
One user criticized both shirts, tweeting: ‘I’ve never been a fan of non-Red England away kits and the collar on the home front doesn’t look right to me either.’
However, the away shirt was well liked by some, with one person writing: ‘The away kit is much better. What kind of collar is that on the home kit!’
A Crystal Palace supporter said these were the ‘best England kits in years’ and that they would ‘get both’.
This was echoed by another England supporter, who said: ‘One of the best England kits I’ve seen in years.’
However, a number of users were unhappy with one aspect of the kits that they thought was missing.
One person tweeted: ‘Why do we go out of our way to hide our star in every kit?’
The gold star on England’s kit represents their one and only World Cup victory in 1966.

England’s new home kit will be shown in a match for the first time when Gareth Southgate’s side play Brazil in a friendly on Saturday.
The Three Lions will also play Belgium during the international period as they step up their preparations for this summer’s European Championships.
England famously reached the final of the last European Championship, which was postponed until 2021, with Southgate’s men losing to Italy on penalties in the final.
