Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford has been moved up to the England senior team ahead of Tuesday’s friendly match against Belgium.

Mail Sport understands the stopper comes in as a replacement for Sam Johnstone.

The news comes just a week after Trafford bowed out for the first time this season, having previously been the only Burnley player to play every minute of every league match.

Sections of the Burnley fanbase have been calling on Vincent Komany to make the change for some time and he did so when Arijanet Muric came on for the 2-1 win over Brentford.
