England warmed up to their stellar start to the World Cup by watching the Three Lions special from comedy duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
Gareth Southgate’s team took part in the pair’s Sky Max show at their team hotel in Doha on Sunday night before thrashing Iran 6-2 on Monday afternoon.
Insiders said the group was greatly entertained by the episode, which sees the pair visit St George’s Park for a training camp in England.

While there, comedian Beckett stuns Mason Mount of Chelsea and Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund by scoring some screamers.
The star-struck Gunner then lets himself down when he tells Harry Kane that he wishes he played for Arsenal.
The pair then take on Manchester City defender Kyle Walker in a closest match to the flag at his local driving range – with Ranganathan pulling off an improbable victory.
Insiders said the squad and staff watched the show on a big screen at their temporary home in Qatar before flying to victory.
Southgate is keen to ensure they have a number of planned activities and events for them to enjoy during their time off.
