England footballer Eric Dier popped the question to model girlfriend Anna Modler

Eric Dier has confirmed that he and his partner Anna Modler are engaged after he asked the question.

His model fiancé, 24, took to Instagram on Friday to confirm her engagement to the 28-year-old Tottenham Hotspur star.

She revealed the exciting proposal by posting a sweet selfie of herself and Eric in a picturesque park.

The proposal comes just two months after the beloved couple were reportedly dating.

A friend of the couple said: The sun: ‘Eric and Anna are very happy. They have seen each other a lot. Anna is smitten and has told friends that Eric could be “the one.” They’re getting serious, so watch this space.’

The South African beauty has been a regular fan at recent Spurs matches, showing her support for Eric and his team, previously telling her friends that she’s been beaten and may have found ‘the one’.

Anna also took to social media in September to joke that she was the reason behind the Spurs’ unbeaten start to the league season after attending their 6-2 home win over Leicester.

Anna previously had a relationship with former Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez, 33, revealed she spent the lockdown with him in 2020.

Although the couple did not appear in public together, the model confirmed their relationship by uploading photos of Sanchez’s dogs.

She also followed Sanchez to Italy when he joined Manchester United’s Serie A giants Inter Milan and snapped a photo at the San Siro.

However, the couple did not stay together and Anna has now found love with her new fiancé.
