England fans have been left furious over a viral video showing how some pints were served at Wembley.

The Three Lions played two games during the international break, with their 1-0 defeat to Brazil followed by a 2-2 draw against Belgium on Tuesday evening.

More than 80,000 people attended both matches, meaning there would have been a high demand for beer on both nights.

However, fans have questioned the price of beer sold at the stadium after a video showed staff serving a fan of Stella Artois in a plastic pint cup, costing £7 for fans at the stadium.

The person who shared the video in his post referred to how some see Wembley as the ‘best stadium in football’, before adding: ‘£7 a pint and this is what you get.’

Cans of Stella Artois cost as little as €2 in some supermarkets.

Commenting on the video, one person complained: ‘Just taking the absolute p***. It’s also probably £7 each, but you can get the whole box for £11.’

Another user complained on X (formerly Twitter), writing: ‘I see this every time I go to Wembley and the fact that it is allowed to happen is shameful.

“It’s like a bar at a school summer party, and they’re more efficient.”

Another added: “The nerve to charge £7 for a can in a plastic cup. Not even a can of pint. Disgusting behaviour,” while a fourth person commented: ‘the nerve to charge £7 for a can in a plastic cup.’

While one user questioned people for spending £7, he wrote: ‘Why do people see that and still part with £7 for a hot pint from a can?’

While fans may not be happy with the price of drinks on offer at the stadium, they would have been happy if Jude Bellingham’s dramatic late equalizer had saved a draw against Belgium.

It was the final game for the Three Lions before Gareth Southgate chooses his squad for this summer’s European Championship.

Fans will have been concerned that they failed to win both matches at Wembley, but there are still a number of players returning, including Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, who did not feature in either match.
