The teenage sensation signed for the European champions on December 15, 2022 as a 16-year-old.

Los Blancos have had to wait for the attacker’s arrival after agreeing a deal for his services, which is reportedly worth £62m, plus over £10m in taxes to be added.

FIFA rules prohibit players under the age of 18 from being transferred abroad, so Endrick had to wait until his 18th birthday to arrive in the Spanish capital.

Endrick is a fine addition to Madrid’s already impressive arsenal of attacking talent as he follows French superstar Kylian Mbappé to the Bernabeu.

Madrid had to beat clubs like Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea to land the young Brazilian.

When the deal was struck 18 months ago, Endrick had only been playing senior football for two months.

Since then, however, he has won the Brazilian Serie A twice and the Brazilian Super Cup with Palmeiras.

During his short spell in his home country, Endrick scored 21 goals in 82 games in all competitions for Palmeiras, while also providing four assists.

At the age of 17, he made his debut for the Brazilian national team in November against Colombia, becoming the fourth youngest player ever to wear his country’s famous yellow shirt.

Four months later, Endrick made his name on the world stage with his winning goal as a substitute against England at Wembley.
