A luxury shopping center in Melbourne was closed due to reports of an armed man walking around inside.
A knife man reportedly roamed Emporium on Lonsdale Street around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Shoppers were drawn into the stores as staff closed the shutters and barricaded the entrances.

Victoria Police said the knifeman had been apprehended and taken to hospital for observation
One customer said they heard screaming and saw police walking through the center.
“The next minute they call a lockdown and we have to run into a shop,” she wrote on Twitter.
