Emotional Taylor Swift fans film themselves sobbing on TikTok and say they’re ‘not ok’ after final Eras Tour show
Emotional Taylor Swift fans have burst into tears after the singer ended her final show of the record-breaking Eras Tour on Sunday evening.
The 34-year-old pop star wrapped up “the most exciting, powerful, exhilarating, intense, most challenging” experience in Vancouver, Canada, after kicking off the tour in March 2023.
After playing 149 shows and selling more than 10.1 million tickets, Swifties – the term used for Taylor’s most loyal fans – couldn’t believe the tour was finally coming to an end after almost two years.
Many took to TikTok to express their devastation at the end of the iconic concert, with some breaking down in tears and asking: ‘What do I do now?’
Swifties from Britain stayed up until the early hours of the morning, despite having work and school, to watch the final show on a grainy livestream in hopes of a final announcement from Taylor.
After Taylor closed her show, Poppy @popunsteady, 20, from Britain, posted a tearful video to TikTok, writing: “Where are we going now, I’m so serious.”
Annie @annieseats_ said: ‘Me because the eras tour is basically over. It’s done. 2 years and it’s done. What. Doing. You. Mean.
‘Surprised there wasn’t an announcement? No documentary?’

Fans found it hard to believe that the tour was finally over and with the memory of many evenings spent watching live streams of the show, they were at a loss as to what to do next.
The Eras Tour is the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first to reach $1 billion in sales.
The singer consists of different ‘eras’ based on her ten studio albums and has broken a plethora of records with her three-hour set list of forty songs.
In Eras – with its glitz, glamor and celebrity guests – Taylor has become the first person ever to be crowned a billionaire primarily through music, and the world’s richest female musician.
The impressive spectacle attracted more than four million fans to arenas around the world, with A-listers, political figures and even royals all competing to be the ‘biggest Swiftie’ around.
The Eras Tour has redefined the idea of the concert as we knew it before – with beloved fan traditions including the famous friendship bracelets, the three-hour set list and the competitive battle for tickets, perhaps changing the atmosphere of live music forever.

Meanwhile, Taylor’s personal life has been a major topic of interest following her split from her long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn in April 2023, just a month after the tour began.
In May 2023, she made headlines worldwide for her 1975 romance with frontman Matty Healy, before discovering her love story with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
Fans had hoped that Taylor would close out the Eras Tour with one final big announcement – with many pinning their hopes on a re-recorded version of Reputation.
However, there were no big surprises or special guests; Taylor shared a big hug with her team and walked off stage with them.

Taylor’s latest acoustic ‘surprise song’ set included a mash-up of A Place In This World from her debut album and 1989’s New Romantics – a song that was originally featured on the deluxe album and has become a fan favorite.
She then performed Long Live from Speak Now, which is often said to be dedicated to her fans, and was included in the setlist before The Tortured Poets Department segment was added.
The final surprise songs for the final show were New Year’s Day – with the poignant lyrics ‘hold on to the memories, they will hold on to you’ – and The Manuscript.
Taylor’s mother Andrea was in the audience to see her daughter Eras perform one last time – although Travis had to miss it for a soccer match.
Taylor concluded, “I’d like to thank you all for participating in the most exciting chapter of my entire life so far: my beloved Eras Tour.”
And she thrilled her fans one last time by singing ‘Karma is the guy on The Chiefs, coming straight home to me’ – a lyric change dedicated to her friend.
As the show came to a close, her latest album TTPD returned to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
After the end of her tour, which kicked off in March 2023, the Pennsylvania native plans to take a year off from work, according to Us Weekly — though fans will never know what Taylor really has in store.
