Kelvin Fletcher has been engaged to the ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale as Andy Sugden, delighting fans.
The 39-year-old actor posted a message below a social media post shared by the soap opera’s official account.
The Instagram post shared some sneak peeks of what’s to come and one photo showed Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) getting aggressive with Sam Dingle (James Hooton) outside the Woolpack.

Normality: Kelvin recently insisted that he doesn’t lead a showbiz lifestyle, stating, “Every top I own has a sick baby on the shoulder.”
Kelvin posted a comment insisting that he would return to Emmerdale if Will doesn’t change his ways.
He wrote: “If he touches Sam like that again, I’ll be back to sort it out.”
Fans were quick to pick up on the message, writing: ‘I wish you would mate. He needs you back as Andy in Emmerdale, to shake things up a bit! Come on, writers, you know!
‘Well, how we’d love to see you return to the Dales.’
‘Ooo yeah Andy’s coming back.’
Not happy; Emmerdale shared a photo of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) getting aggressive with Sam Dingle (James Hooton) outside the Woolpack and Kelvin threatened to enter.
He wrote: “If he touches Sam like that again, I’ll be back to fix it” and all the fans went crazy.

Kelvin left Emmerdale in 2016 after playing Andy for 20 years to become a rally driver. The father of four is now a farmer.
He has grown in front of the nation after being cast as Andy, the troubled foster kid, in 1996.

Andy married Katie as a teenager, but their marriage failed after she had an affair with her adoptive brother Robert.
In his rage, Andy tries to shoot Robert, but ends up hitting his father Jack.
Andy and Roberts’ breakup comes back to haunt them years later when the former remarries Katie in December 2014.
