Emmerdale viewers rejoice as Paddy and Mandy share passionate kiss

Emmerdale fans were delighted to watch Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle share a passionate kiss on Monday’s episode.

The couple has been in an on and off relationship since 1999 and the couple got married in the same year before divorcing in 2001.

Veterinarian Paddy (Dominic Brunt) has struggled with his mental health in recent weeks following his split from cheating wife Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), with the pair sharing a kiss last month.

However, Paddy has tried again to leave Chas and this week’s premiere episode saw him lock lips with former flame Mandy (Lisa Riley) after she invited him to her house for dinner.

Amid his battle with depression, Paddy took some quiet time last week, leaving his fellow villagers concerned.

He quickly returned home, but when Mandy saw him looking down during Monday’s episode, she invited him for a bite to eat in an attempt to cheer him up.

While Paddy spoke fondly of their past after their meal, Mandy seemed uncomfortable and told him she had to go to work and do chores around her house in an attempt to coax him out.

But Paddy wouldn’t leave and insisted he sit on the couch and watch TV so he wouldn’t have to go home and be alone.
