Emmerdale viewers exasperated as ‘boring’ plotline continues
Emmerdale viewers were exasperated as the ‘boring’ plotline rumbled on as they came up with theories after disbelieving the apparent ending to the story.
Emmerdale fans were left exasperated during Monday’s episode after the mystery about Will Taylor’s missing watch was blown.
Will, played by Dean Andrews, was recently seen angrily accusing Home Farm gardener Sam Dingle (James Hooton) of stealing his expensive watch.
However, this week, Nicky the nanny (Lewis Cope) later produced the watch and claimed he found baby Thomas playing with it, something soap fans refused to believe was true.

The watch has caused quite a stir on the soap, with Sam losing his job and his wife Lydia (Karen Blick) resigning as a cleaner at Home Farm in protest because she didn’t like how her family was treated.
Despite Will no longer having a job due to the watch debacle, Will refused to see the matter resolved as he had not gotten his watch back at the time.
He threatened to get the police involved and things heated up outside The Woolpack pub, with Caleb Dingle (Will Ash) stepping in on Sam’s defense.

Will was furious, but then calmed down when it was discovered that baby Thomas was playing with the clock.
However, viewers at home found the plot absurd and insisted that there was no way a baby could grab the watch.
Insisting that it was Nicky who planted the watch on Thomas, one person took to Twitter to write: “Just because Thomas has the watch doesn’t mean he took it… I still think Nicky planted it on him! “.
Exasperated: However, viewers at home found the plot absurd and insisted there was no way a baby could have grabbed the watch after the watch was found with baby Thomas.
Someone else wrote: ‘Yes. How did baby Thomas get the clock off the kitchen counter? What credible explanation will the writers come up with?’
Another viewer posted: “Was the watch left in the kitchen on a table and somehow a baby supposedly managed to grab it and carry it upstairs?”
Someone else shared: ‘We know 100% that it wasn’t baby Thomas who may have taken the watch. If Clemmie or Lucas had been present, it would obviously be believable. If they’re not in the frame, obviously there has to be an adult in the house. Actually, Kim and Will would discuss this.’
Another person wrote: ‘What’s #Manny Nicky’s game? No way Thomas got Will’s watch off a counter. He is not Superman 2! Nicky is either stealing or gambling. And Caleb is involved in this game?
I don’t believe Thomas was messing with Will’s watch. I think Nicky, who is playing everyone’s side, took it,” another viewer shared.
Exasperated that the story is still going on, one person wrote: “And I was thinking that everything that stole the watch would be the big Christmas reveal story.”
Another person added: “Will, glue that flamin watch on with super glue, just in case, and let’s not hear anything else for God’s sake.”
Emmerdale continues on Tuesday on ITV1 at 7.30pm.
