Emmerdale: True nature of Nicky and Ally’s relationship unveiled
A huge persistent fan theory was confirmed on Monday’s episode of Emmerdale when Nicky Milligan shared a passionate kiss with newcomer Ally.
Scheming nanny Nicky (Lewis Cope) kept the surprises coming in recent episodes of the ITV soap as he conspires to take down businesswoman Kim Tate (Claire King) and get her hands on her fortune.
Mysterious newcomer Ally (Josh Horrocks) arrived in town last week as Nicky was planning his wedding to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) following his shock proposal earlier this month.
However, during last Thursday’s episode, it was immediately apparent that Nicky and Ally were connected, with Nicky appearing tense when Ally told Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), “Oh, we go way back, don’t we, Nicky?” You won’t believe what we’re up to.’
And with soap fans theorizing about what the nature of Nicky and Ally’s relationship might be, it seemed many of them were right, because when Monday’s episode came to a close this week saw the pair tight-lipped. after exchanging heated words.

Earlier in the episode, viewers watched Nicky’s plan to steal a car from Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) unfold, though things didn’t go according to plan.
Nicky teams up with his father Caleb (Will Ash), who is also Cain’s brother, to launch a revenge plan against Kim.
The pair, who have connections to Frank Tate, have been trying to destroy Kim and Home Farm and are taking steps to get their plot in the works.
But Nicky made a risky move on Friday’s episode when he plotted to steal from the formidable Cain after the pair clashed.
Nicky was seen in Cain’s garage on Monday trying to steal the vehicle, hoping to sell it and give the money to Caleb, getting his approval in the process.
But Nicky was upset when Cain walked in and saw Nicky, leaving him furious with an altercation that ensued.
Nicky was heartbroken after his father Caleb watched him be attacked while fleeing the garage, with Caleb showing almost no compassion for his son as he is determined to accomplish his plan to take Kim down.
Caleb told Nicky to go home and lick his paws while making sure his fiancé Gabby was happy.

However, Nicky had other plans and at the end of the episode, Ally was seen driving a yellow Mini on a remote country road.
Ally wanted an explanation from Nicky and asked him why he married Gabby when she is ‘not his type’, calling the engagement a ‘sham’.
Nicky protested, insisting he was “not playing anything,” before grabbing Ally and throwing it against the car before leaning in for a kiss.
While the dramatic scenes may have come as a surprise to some, many viewers had mixed feelings, with some taking to Twitter to insist they had already figured out what was going to happen between Nicky and Ally.
One person wrote, “Could tell Nicky was gay from the start and I knew it was his boy,” while another joked, “Shocker Nicky is gay!!”
Another viewer posted, “I’m so happy!!!! Nicky and his mate… I worked that out when they met at the Hop.’
While someone else shared: ‘#Emmerdale knew! Nicky is gay! I knew he was using Gabby from the start, but now it all makes sense.”
Predictable? While the scenes may have come as a surprise to some, viewers had mixed feelings, with some taking to Twitter to insist they figured out who Ally was.
Another viewer wrote, “I thought that boy was Nicky’s guy, I was right. #Emmerdale.’
A shocked soap fan posted: ‘So the man Nicky hated to see in the village and seemed shocked to see him last week, now back when Nicky called him, arranged to meet him and now kissing him. Rollercoaster feels like Jekyll and Hyde Nicky… whatever.”
While someone else joked, “Now we know why he really hates Gabby.” Nicky is gay and has to sleep with her.’
