Emmerdale to be ‘totally rocked’ by THREE devastating storylines with one villager left fighting for their life

Emmerdale will be ‘completely rocked’ this spring with three devastating storylines that will have viewers on the edge of their seats.

Over the coming weeks, the ITV soap will unfold stories of domestic abuse, a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis and a tragic accident that leaves a villager fighting for his life.

Tom King (James Chase) will continue his manipulation and control of new wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper), with the situation only getting worse during a special episode that ‘deviates from the usual Emmerdale format’.

Show producer Laura Shaw said: ‘It’s a dinner party that mainly focuses on Tom and Belle and Marlon and Rhona and we’ll see what’s going on in their relationship and how what you see in public isn’t necessarily what you leave behind sees closed doors’.

The soap has consulted domestic violence charity Refuge for the storyline to accurately portray it.

Meanwhile, Billy (Jay Kontzle) and Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) will be left heartbroken when their son Evan is shockingly diagnosed with leukemia.

‘We want to show the pressure this can put on a family, e.gDawn and Billy’s roles changed overnight.

The producer also teased an upcoming accident involving two unnamed families, putting one character’s life in danger.

Saying, “We’re going to see that someone is in really serious medical danger – whether they live or die, we’re going to have to see. But the consequences and consequences of that accident will be very long-lasting and life-changing.”

Bold and boisterous, Rose has recently moved to Benidorm and her arrival will cause a stir when Will (Dean Andrews) fails to tell her off to his wife Kim (Claire King).
