Emmerdale fans are in for another week of drama in the village as Lydia Dingle takes on the role of Agatha Christie after her rapist Craig is murdered.
In the soap’s dark plot, Lydia (Karen Blick) was attacked by her childhood friend Craig Reed (Ben Addis) in August.
In the episode, which airs on Monday October 30, a shocked Billy finds Craig’s bloodied and lifeless body in the fields of Home Farm.
Lydia gathers 12 family members into the Woolpack as she believes one of the Dingles must have been responsible, after sharing her heartbreaking ordeal earlier this month.
Every family member has an alibi, but Lydia’s flashbacks reveal that they are all lying to her about the night of Craig’s murder.

Drama: In the coming scenes, Lydia’s enraged husband Sam and Cain kidnap Craig, but are they responsible for his death?

When the questions turn to Aaron, suspicion arises as he refuses to share his alibi with his family.
But after talking to every family member she knows, Mandy, Belle, Caleb and Marlon are all hiding something.
But the interrogation becomes too much and Lydia falls apart because she can’t stand someone lying to her.
Husband Sam sees poor Lydia struggling and says he didn’t give her the full facts after he and Cain took Craig hostage following his release from prison.
It doesn’t take long before we finally find out what really happened to Craig that night.
Sam has been struggling in recent episodes as he felt lost, helpless and sacred to touch his traumatized wife.
Lydia was raped by Craig after a charged moment between the two, leading him to confess his true feelings.
