Emmerdale SPOILERS: Mack vows to win Charity’s forgiveness after his HUGE baby betrayal – can the short-lived newlyweds survive?

Mackenzie Boyd will be determined to reclaim Charity’s forgiveness at next week’s Emmerdale after finally learning he is the father of Chloe Harris’ baby.

In the next few scenes, Mack is shamed by his sister Moira after she finally piece together his months-long lies, after Charity discovers her husband’s connection to the newborn.

It comes after a devastated Charity finally realizes that Mack cheated on her and fathered baby Reuben with Chloe.

Over the next few episodes, Mack is embarrassed when Moira piece together his months-long lies, but her words eventually spur him on to patch things up with Charity.

When Amy arrives at the hospital for cuddles with Reuben, self-loathing Chloe brings the news that Mack is his father – and she can’t believe what Chloe has done…

Drama: When Amy arrives at the hospital for cuddles with Reuben, self-loathing Chloe breaks the news that Mack is his father – and she can’t believe what Chloe has done

The scenes air just days after viewers witness the moment when Charity (Emma Atkins) finally learns the truth about Reuben’s paternity.

For months, Mack and Chloe hid their secret one-night stand and the resulting child, with only Nate Robinson and Sarah Sugden knowing the truth.

However, things will finally come to a head this week as Mack’s wife Charity works out his shocking secret after struggling to cope with baby Reuben’s recent diagnosis of bacterial meningitis.

In the next few scenes, Mack’s friend Nate worries that he is fooling himself as he considers balancing his marriage to the landlady with a secret life with his son.

Meanwhile, Chloe (Jessie Elland) is reeling when doctors tell her Reuben may have a brain hemorrhage.

At the Woolpack, Dan Spencer tries to stay positive about Reuben’s chances, but Mack (Lawrence Robb), who has drowned his sorrows amid his son’s health problems, reaches his breaking point.

And wife Charity is left stunned when he slaps Dan before he sneaks off into the night.

Later, a worried Mack sits outside the hospital, unable to get inside.

The truth is known! Charity is devastated to see Mack adore baby Reuben and realizes he is the toddler’s father.

He then ignores a call from Charity, who becomes increasingly concerned about what really causes their breakup.

At the hospital, Chloe becomes very concerned when the consultant tells her they need to do another scan on Reuben, whose condition doesn’t seem to be improving.

Elsewhere, Nate urges Mack to visit Reuben in the hospital after realizing the depth of his friend’s concern for the toddler.

But with Charity already finding his unusual behavior suspicious, Mack soon risks his relationship while heading to the hospital.

Soon both parents are utterly relieved when the counselor tells them that Reuben shows no signs of brain damage.

And when Chloe asks to come to Reuben with her, Mack jumps at the chance to spend time with his son.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to him, Charity and Chloe’s half-sister Amy Wyatt arrive at the hospital for a surprise visit after learning that Reuben is on the mend.

But Charity is in for a shock when she sees an oblivious but emotional Mack who adores baby Reuben, only to learn that he is the toddler’s father.
