Emmerdale SPOILER: Nicky brutally REFUSES to have sex with Gabby despite admitting he has feelings for her, after refusing her kiss
Handsome newcomer from Emmerdale, Nicky, turned down Gabby’s advances on the Tuesday show, after she leaned in to kiss him.
And, in the next few scenes, the scruffy babysitter will confess that she has feelings for the brunette, but that they can’t be together as it could jeopardize her job.
In the episodes, which air next week, Nicky admits that despite their chemistry, he can’t have sex with the young mother, and actor Lewis Cope admits there could be “problems” if the pair get together.
SPOILER: Nicky, Emmerdale’s new babysitter, will refuse to have sex with Gabby Thomas in the next few scenes, despite admitting that he has feelings for her.
Nicky first came to Gabby’s attention when she came to town as Clemmie and Lucas’ nanny, but soon found her services were no longer needed when Dawn (Olivia Bromley) decided she didn’t want to work for Kim Tate (Claire King).
Luckily, Gabby assured Nicky that she still needed someone to look after her son Thomas, and Kim agreed, meaning he could stay at Home Farm.
After learning that she had landed the job as Kim’s assistant, a delighted Gabby (Rosie Bentham) decided to celebrate with Nicky by enjoying some champagne.
However, when she learned to kiss her, she quickly pulled away, admitting that she didn’t like him that way.
Strange! In scenes that aired Tuesday night, Gabby leaned in to kiss Nicky, but he pushed her back, insisting he didn’t like her that way.
In the next few episodes, Nicky makes a shocking confession, admitting that he likes Gabby, but doesn’t want to cross the line with her and jeopardize his job.
Speaking about the story, Lewis said Subway: ‘Potentially it could be a problem at Home Farm if they get together. Nicky focuses on his work and thinks we shouldn’t be doing this and walks away.
Co-star Rosie agrees that the pair make a good match, adding, “They both like each other, it’s so obvious.”
“I think the audience is going to encourage them to be honest, because they see two young people who like each other, it’s very obvious what they’re going to want out of it. But whether they get it or not, who knows?
However, Lewis has already warned that Nicky has a dark side that viewers may see in the coming weeks.
He said last month: “He’s a lovely person at the moment and there’s nothing to say otherwise, but he’s too good to be true.”
Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
