Marlon’s idea comes after Chas (Lucy Pargeter) informs him that women are generally better at dealing with their emotions because they talk to friends, while Jimmy admits that the pub community is his therapy.

Cain, Jimmy, Liam, Bob, Charles, Sam, Nate, Marlon and Bear start the evening hoping Paddy will join them.

As the men begin to talk, beginning with their childhood nicknames and moments in life that have troubled them or need to vent, they begin to play a friendly game of darts.

But will Paddy have the courage to join them and seek the support he needs?

Emmerdale bosses have already confirmed that Paddy will plan to take his own life in scenes to air this month as viewers see the true extent of his deep depression.

The show’s researchers and writers have followed the advice and have worked closely with Samaritans and Andy’s Man Club to tell Paddy’s story as authentically as possible.

In recent episodes, Paddy disappeared from town after sleeping with Mandy, and while the police were able to track him down, it was clear he didn’t want to be found.

Upon his return, he was seen spending the day apparently making amends with family and friends, who are unaware that he is actually saying his veiled farewells
