Emmerdale fans see another HUGE blunder in Laurel’s kidnapping ordeal as lovers desperately try to find her: ‘This is a farce!’
Emmerdale fans saw another huge blunder in Laurel Thomas’s kidnapping ordeal during Thursday’s hour-long episode.
In suspenseful scenes, Laurel feared for her life after being kidnapped by Colin, teenager Marshall’s misguided father, and in the final show, she gave up her chance to escape to try and convince him to let her go.
After a tense scene between the couple on a couch, viewers quickly noticed that Laurel could have run away from Colin at that point, and that despite being tied up, she did not attract the attention of passersby.
Laurel was said to be on her way to India to support her husband Jai at his father Rishi’s funeral, and her disappearance began to worry her loved ones.
Jai and her best friend Nicola called the police, but due to the team they reached Colin’s house, Laurel was nowhere to be seen.

Once again, Laurel gave up her chance to escape to convince Colin to release her.
She succeeded and Colin even drove her back to her house where she was reunited with Jai.
While viewers were relieved that Laurel was safe and sound, they quickly noted that she had ample opportunity to escape Colin’s clutches.
One posted: “Nice, Laurel is back safe and sound, no more being held captive. She even got a ride back from her kidnapper Colin the psychopath.”
“I’m expecting a guy chasing the crazy Colin, but instead he just rides back with Laurel, all casually like they just had a picnic! Barely a glimpse of his arrest
“Disappointed with the ending tonight!” added a second.

A soap fan also tweeted, “There have been some ridiculous storylines over the years. I think this Laurel kidnapping farce will be one of the best out there.”
Another added, “Omg how does Colin get bay leaf from one place to another so easily, you really could have come up with a not so ridiculous storyline.”
On Wednesday, viewers saw another huge blunder in Laurel’s hostage hell.
Laurel tried to escape Colin by knocking him out with his bible, after finding all the doors locked he tied her to the bed before vowing to go after her son Arthur.
But fans quickly noticed that Laurel had several chances to escape, including a moment where the bedroom door was wide open while Colin stood away from her.
Others also pointed out that when she was able to escape the bedroom, she could have smashed the back door to get out.
