And after Mandy comforted him with red wine, an egg sandwich and nostalgic music, one thing led to another with the old flames, with Mandy (Lisa Riley) closing in on Paddy (Dominic Brunt) as the credits rolled.
The two have been in an on-off relationship over the years since 1999, with the two getting married in 1999 before breaking up due to infidelity.
And now, more than 20 years after their divorce, viewers are rooting for the couple once again, with fans commenting that the bumbling vet deserves “some happiness.”
