Emmerdale fans have narrowed down the list of suspects over who Nicky Milligan’s mother is.
It was revealed this week that Nicky (Lewis Cope) is actually the son of Caleb (Will Ash), and viewers are now speculating about his mother’s identity.
Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) and Tina Dingle (Jacqueline Pirie) are at the top of the suspect list, while others speculate that Kerry Wyatt or Faith Dingle could be his mother.
Nicky had previously lied about his past, claiming that his mother died when he was a teenager and that he helped raise his younger siblings.
However, after it turned out that Caleb is really his father and the late Frank Tate grandfather, his true family history is now up in the air.

Nicky confirmed that his mother wasn’t actually dead when he threatened to tell his mother that Caleb was sleeping with Leyla Harding.
One fan said on Twitter, “I wonder who Nicky’s mom is? I’m thinking Tina Dingle or Kerry Wuatt?’
Another agreed, saying, “Please let Tina Dingle be Nicky’s mom.” She left in 1996 and married off screen in 1997. Perfect candidate with her past with the Tate family.’
Another speculated, “Tina Dingle? Sadie King?’ while a fourth said, “Maybe Faye is Nicky’s mother?”
A fifth viewer commented, “I heard Sadie could just be King.” [Patsky Kensit] is in EastEnders… I think it’s Tina Dingle, because she hasn’t been seen or heard from since ’96.’
It comes after Nicky and Caleb’s true identities were finally revealed on Thursday’s episode.
The dramatic episode exposed Home Farm nanny Nicky as Leyla’s (Roxy Shahidi) stalker.
And if that wasn’t enough, Nicky was also revealed to be Caleb’s son.

In a Q&A released after the episode aired, William Ash, who plays Caleb, and Lewis Cope, who plays Nicky, teased what might come after the shocking twist.
Will said, “It’s nice to get their big secret out in the open. There’s a lot of people speculating, even people coming up to me on the street and asking, “What’s Caleb up to?” and, “Why is he in the village?”
“It’s good that part of the story is coming out, great for the audience so they don’t lose interest in that thread.”
Lewis added: “But it’s also almost just the beginning. Finding out that Caleb and Nicky are related. But why are they there? What are they doing? Will she succeed? How will it end? That will all be very exciting!
“We started filming some scenes where we work together where you find out more details, and they were great for us to play.
“We haven’t had a lot of scenes together because of the nature of the story, so it’s great to start this new chapter.”
Lewis continued, “Yeah, you start to see the reasons why they’re in the village, then you start to see the relationship between the two and how they live, which is really interesting.”
Will agreed, “The public is going to start seeing more layers to them and little secrets they have that complicates their relationship. That was really fun to play.’

When asked if they knew the storyline when they joined the show, Will exclaimed, “I did!” I knew that Frank Tate was Caleb’s father and Faith was his mother.
“Besides, I knew Caleb’s son got a job at Home Farm, which Caleb forced him to do to put him in that world to learn as much as he could about it.”
Lewis added, “I thought I came in as a love interest for Gabby, it was later on when I got the scripts and it started revealing itself to me.”
“It was a nice surprise because I wasn’t anticipating anything, I could just look at what was in the script and make that work.”
Will concluded, “It can be a bit of a burden for both of them as there is a foot in both families. It’s very clever that they used that device to see how much disruption these characters can cause.
‘There’s always been that clash between the Tates and the Dingles, but it’s really going to flare up now! It’s very grand what Caleb and Nicky are trying to do, so there’s a lot of fireworks ready to go off.”
