Emmerdale fans predict a bad ending for Dan as he pleads guilty to grievous bodily harm while Lloyd is pronounced dead
Emmerdale fans have predicted a bad ending for Dan Spencer when he pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm at trial on Thursday’s episode.
But unbeknownst to the mechanic, Lloyd Sawyer (Matt Sutton) had taken a turn at Hotten General Hospital, only minutes later he was pronounced dead.
He intended to plead not guilty on the grounds of self-defense, but was left wracked with guilt when Lloyd’s wife Julie explained that he might never wake up.
With the news of Lloyd’s death, Dan (Liam Fox) can now have his charges elevated from GBH to manslaughter or murder.
“I was just looking around and all these things started going through my head and it just felt like the right thing to do,” he explained to his daughter Amelia as they left court.

On Twitter, viewers of the soap shared their thoughts: “Silly boy Dan, you’re in jail for a long time now,” someone shared.
Another posted, “Ahhhhhh it’s turned into murder now. Then it’s done.’
“Oh dear, he’s dead, Dan won’t go down well with that,” a third wrote.
Someone else added: ‘Lloyd has not died. Dan doesn’t know he’s guilty of manslaughter.’
“There must be something that can save Dan unless he leaves the show #Emmerdale,” one fan wondered.
Mechanic Dan was recently arrested after confessing to punching Lloyd in a fit of rage.
He had discovered the creepy man hanging out with his 16-year-old daughter Amelia (Daisy Campbell) after she tried to make a name for herself on social media.

After Lloyd came to the salon and sent a note to her house, the concerned hairdresser confided in her father.
In the episode, a protective Dan tried to take the law into his own hands and warn Lloyd about his daughter.
His action led to drastic consequences for both him and Lloyd.
