Emmerdale fans were full of theories after Friday night’s show after Lydia Dingle’s rapist Craig was found dead in a field.
In shocking scenes, Craig’s lifeless body was seen in the fields of Home Farm, and every member of the Dingle family is a suspect.
In the lead up to Craig’s death, all the Dingles plotted their demise, with Lydia’s husband Sam seen fleeing across the farm with blood on his hands.
Fans of the ITV soap flocked to social media to share what they thought about Craig’s death, who they believe is the killer.
Lydia herself will interrogate each of her loved ones in tense episodes next week, leaving viewers guessing as to the identity of the killer.

In the comments on the Emmerdale YouTube channel, one fan wrote: “I was thinking about Aaron, but now I’m thinking about Marlon as no one would suspect him.”
Another said: ‘I think Samson might do it! He’ll feel guilty because he doesn’t believe Lydia right away.’
Samson was also the choice for two more fans, with one writing: “I’m calling it. Samson is the murderer.’
And the other said, “Think Samson is going to kill Craig, but the family will cover him up somehow. But I hope the punishment doesn’t mean that any of them will leave.”
One fan said: ‘It’s always someone you least expect.’
Another expanded, saying, “Suppose the killer is someone you don’t expect, like Lydia or someone he works with.”
One fan, really off the beaten path, said, “Think it’s the secretary who works for Craig, I think she too might have been raped by Craig but kept quiet to keep her job.
“The Dingles probably think it’s Samson because he’s gone somewhere. It’s too obvious to think it was a Dingle who killed Craig.’

On Instagram, more Emmerdale fans started doing their guesswork.
One adamant commenter said: ‘Ruth, Craig’s (sic) former PA kills him… while also raping her which will come to light.’
Another agreed, writing: ‘Ruth the receptionist. I think he did something to her too.”
Echoing the non-Dingle line of thinking, one person wrote, “I bet no Dingles killed Craig, nor Ruth, nor Tom.”
Another said: ‘Probably more than Sam or Samson killing Craig.’
One fan stepped away from the whodunnit, writing, “This is kind of annoying that Lydia doesn’t get the justice she deserves and Craig gets away with it.”
And in complete deviation, one smitten fan said: ‘The man who plays Craig is so handsome.’

Lydia first questions her husband Sam and Cain, as she knows they kidnapped the rapist and locked him in a shed.
