Emmanuel Acho shares horrifying clip of burning Hollywood Hills as Fox Sports host flees Los Angeles fires
Fox Sports host Emmanuel Acho is among thousands of Californians fleeing the Palisades Fires in Los Angeles, where the former NFL linebacker recorded gruesome video of the blaze.
“Yo, LA is literally on fire,” 34-year-old Acho said off camera as his dashboard, bumper-to-bumper traffic and burning hills flashed across the screen. “I’m driving home because someone said the Hollywood Hills are on fire, and you can literally see the huge fire in the Hollywood Hills. Like, this is now in LA.”
Wildfires that ravaged some of the LA area’s most picturesque neighborhoods continued to grow Wednesday as firefighters battled three large out-of-control blazes that killed at least five people.
The winds were easing and firefighters from across the state were relieving exhausted crews, but the danger was far from over. As officials provided an update on the fires, another blaze broke out in the Hollywood Hills and evacuation orders were also extended to Santa Monica.
As a result, it is said that Acho prepared to flee.
“Please pray for LA – the Hollywood Hills are on fire right now,” Acho captioned his video on X. “I just made this video as I was about to evacuate my house.”

Acho’s retreat from his home comes during a tumultuous week for the former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker.
Although not named as a defendant in the Fox Sports sexual harassment lawsuit, Acho was accused of having an affair with his FS1 co-host, Joy Taylor.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji, accuses Bayless and Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon of sexual harassment. Bayless is accused of offering Faraji $1.5 million for sex, while Dixon is accused of groping the stylist’s buttocks.
Taylor herself is accused of dismissing Faraji’s sexual harassment complaints against Bayless and Fox Sports executive Dixon, allegedly telling the hairstylist to “get over it.”
Fox released a brief statement, though Taylor, Bayless and Acho have remained silent on the matter.
“We take these allegations seriously and will allow the legal process to take its course,” the network statement said. “We have no further comment at this time.”
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Taylor and her foundation for comment. Attorneys for Bayless, Dixon and Taylor have not yet been made available to Los Angeles Superior Court. Additionally, an Acho spokesperson did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
