Emmanuel Acho bombarded with replies to first X post since Fox lawsuit

Fans were quick to dismiss Emmanuel Acho’s NFL analysis Monday after he broke his silence in the wake of the bombshell Fox Sports lawsuit.

According to shocking allegations involving some of the biggest names in sports media, FS1 presenter Joy Taylor ‘used sexual relationships with Acho and network manager Charlie Dixon to further her career’.

Just 24 hours later, Acho posted his recap of Sunday night’s NFL regular season finale between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions, choosing not to reference any off-field controversy involving himself.

However, the comments section wouldn’t let it slide, instead opening the floodgates for questions and responses regarding the allegations.

“Damn this guy just completely ignores the accusations,” one user wrote with a laughing emoji.

“Wow, what a joy it is to hear from you,” a second joked, playing on Taylor’s name.

“Yeah, I don’t know, but they’re waiting for you to talk about something else,” said a third.

A fourth user commented: ‘Are you going to act like nothing happened?’

The lawsuit also alleges that Taylor conspired to protect her job by fabricating a sexual misconduct allegation against Dixon, a Fox Sports executive vice president in charge of talent.

The camp of former FS1 stylist Noushin Faraji filed that lawsuit on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Taylor, Dixon, former FS1 host Skip Bayless and the Fox Corporation are named in Faraji’s lawsuit, which largely focuses on allegations of sexual harassment, sexual battery, negligent supervision, retaliation and other hostile workplace issues between 2012 and August 2024.

Bayless is accused of offering Faraji $1.5 million for sex, while Dixon is accused of groping the stylist’s buttocks.

Taylor himself is accused of dismissing Faraji’s sexual harassment complaints against Bayless and Dixon and telling the hairstylist to “get over it.”

Amid claims of a sexual relationship between Acho and his co-host on ‘Speak,’ fans unearthed videos of the retired NFL linebacker talking about Taylor, with one claiming it “all makes sense now” – despite the allegations are not confirmed.

One clip shows Acho introducing Taylor on “Speak” during Super Bowl week. “Truly, in the sports industry, I don’t know anyone more impressive – in every way, shape or form – than the one and only Joy Taylor,” he said.

Another video – now reportedly deleted by Acho – shows him promoting his co-host before the show’s premiere.

“I have to take a moment to shout out my co-host Joy Taylor. A woman. A black woman. Daily show. Sport. Do you all realize how hard it is to get into the position she’s in?’ he said.

“There is so much misogyny and sexism in sports, and we don’t even care what women have to say in sports. But Joy is not only in the position of being a black woman on television. But as an opinionist.

‘So don’t just ask men what they think, but give her own unique and distinctive insight. It’s hard to do, and Joy, you did it, so congratulations. I look forward to working with you.’

A spokesperson for Fox Sports told DailyMail.com: ‘We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this ongoing legal case.’

DailyMail.com has contacted Acho and Taylor management for comment.

Hours after Acho’s tweet went live, Taylor appeared on Speak with Paul Pierce, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin — her first TV appearance since the allegations surfaced.
