Poor things Star Emma Stone’s charming Los Angeles property has been snapped up by a buyer for $3.95 million less than 10 days after it listed.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom estate is located in the suburbs of Comstock Hills in Westwood, an upscale neighborhood bordered by Sunset Boulevard to the north and the Los Angeles Country Club to the east.
According to property records, the 35-year-old actress paid $2.3 million for the home in 2019. The main house and guest house together cover an area of 3,276 square meters, all located on 0.15 hectares.
Listing agent Eric Lavey of Sotheby’s International Realty said Stone added the guesthouse and renovated the main house, expanding the kitchen and leaving original details unchanged.
The two-story home was built in 1926 and has “character in all the right places,” according to the listing, which emphasizes its privacy and proximity to Century City shopping.

The house has moss green accents on the door frames and shutters, plus a red shingle roof that contrasts perfectly with the fresh white exterior paint.
An outdoor paved terrace is framed by lush greenery and the driveway is hidden behind a double revolving wooden gate.

The living room has cheerful green accents and a built-in fireplace. Several rooms have vaulted ceilings and abundant windows that let in light.

The kitchen is separated from a downstairs bedroom by a red French door. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms, with extra space for a baby room.

The cozy guest house features a private kitchen, study and bedroom suite with laundry room – “perfect for an extended stay for family and friends or a well-appointed office,” according to the listing.
Before selling it — for an undisclosed amount — Stone used the Westwood home only for occasional stays when she and her family were in Los Angeles.
In 2018, the 35-year-old actress closed on a Manhattan apartment for $3.56 million. This was followed by a house in Austin, Texas, in 2021.

Following the announcement on Tuesday morning, the 35-year-old released a statement to the media.
“I am extremely grateful to the Academy for including me as an actress and producer in this group of exceptional nominees and for recognizing our film in so many categories,” Stone said.
“The team of artists who contributed to ‘Poor Things’ gave it their all and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to play Bella and see the world through her eyes. She showed me that life is so much more than just sugar and violence.’
The news comes just a week after Stone won Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Her upcoming roles include another Lanthimos film, Kinds of Kindness.
