Emma Stone stuns in black and white ensemble as she supports her film Poor Things at the AFI Awards

Emma Stoned stunned in black and white as she attended the star-studded American Film Institute Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday.

The 35-year-old actress, who won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, was on hand to support the film that helped her earn that distinction.

Poor Things, in which she stars as a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist, is included in the AFI films of the year.

Major studio films such as Barbie, Oppenheimer, Maestro and Killers of the Flower Moon were honored, along with smaller films such as The Holdovers, American Fiction and May December and Past Lives.

Spider-man Across the Spider-verse was the only animated film to be shot.

For her latest outing, the Oscar winner wore a white top with exaggerated long sleeves and V-neck, paired with an ankle-length black chiffon A-line skirt.

A black and white checked statement belt accentuated the actress’s tiny waist.

She accessorized with a simple pair of gold earrings and completed the look with a pair of black pumps.

The Lala Land star’s reddish-brown hair was styled in a long bob and parted to the side.

She wore friendly makeup during the day with a pomegranate red lip.

The actress was joined on her busy rounds by Poor Things co-star Ramy Youssef and director Yorgos Lanthimos, 50.

Youssef, 32, opted for a chocolate brown suit with a double-breasted jacket and a black T-shirt.

The actress recently put her home in Los Angeles’ Westwood neighborhood up for sale for $3.995 million Wall Street Journal.

The Cruella star, her husband, writer-director Dave McCrary, 38, and their daughter Louise, almost 3, have been using the house as a stopover while they were in Los Angeles, according to real estate agent Eric Lavey.

The couple sold their Malibu home in 2022 for more than $4.4 million, but still have homes in Texas and New York.
