Emma Roberts reveals if she and Kim Kardashian will star in Calabasas series they’re co-executive producing for Netflix: ‘Anything is possible’
Emma Roberts has officially confirmed that she and Kim Kardashian are working together again after starring together in the FX series American Horror Story: Delicate.
The 33-year-old actress, who recently received a restraining order from a stalker, and the reality star, 43, will serve as co-executive producers on the upcoming series Calabasas.
And on Wednesday, Roberts teased the upcoming project during an appearance on SiriusXM’s In the spotlight with Jessica Shaw and revealed whether or not she and Kardashian will star in the series.
“Kim and I are executive producers of a show for Netflix called Calabasas,” the starlet began. “We have the amazing Marlene King, who did Pretty Little Liars, as our showrunner. I’m obsessed with her and Pretty Little Liars.
“I remember seeing that show and thinking, ‘I wish I was on that show.’ It was so cool and fun,” she said.

Roberts continued, “I mean, there’s not really much I can share other than I just feel like, you know, I want the next The O.C., and I think if we do this right, it’ll be a little bit The O.C., a little bit Pretty Little Liars
“Kim and I are just two Calabasas girls getting back to our roots,” she said.
Deadline It was first announced in April that Roberts and Kardashian would be working together again on a new series.
According to the outlet, Calabasas is based on the novel If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous by Now by Via Bleidner.

Amazon describes the book as ‘a collection of funny and heartwarming insider stories about growing up in the Los Angeles suburb known for giving birth to the Kardashian-Jenners and the Bling Ring.
Roberts also expressed her excitement to work with Kardashian again, sharing that she used to visit the mother of four’s boutique before her reality TV days.
“I used to shop at her clothing store Dash before they had their TV show, so I saw them in the store,” the blonde beauty said.
“And it’s just so funny how life works. I still miss Dash,” she laughed.
Roberts and Kardashian recently starred together in FX’s American Horror Story: Delicate.

This isn’t Roberts’ first executive producer role, as she’s credited in Netflix’s First Kill (2022) and Hulu’s Tell Me Lies (2022).
The fifth season of Kim’s reality show, The Kardashians, hit the Hulu library a few weeks ago.
A release date for Calabasas has yet to be announced publicly by Netflix.
