Emma Roberts gives rare insight on her low-key relationship with boyfriend Cody John: ‘The two of us were sobbing’

Emma Roberts finally spoke openly about her relationship with boyfriend Cody John on Saturday.
The 33-year-old American Horror Story star, who was recently excited about co-producing a Netflix series with Kim Kardashian, was thrilled with the way she let her emotions flow in a sweet moment she shared with her husband.
When asked when the last time she was moved to tears, the Space Cadet actress replied that it was when she was having a movie night with Cody.
“I watched the movie The Iron Claw with my friend and we were both sobbing,” Roberts told People.
“It was just a disaster. At first we were crying and then we were laughing at each other for crying, which made us cry even harder,” she told the outlet.

The blonde beauty and her husband confirmed their relationship in August 2022 after they were spotted kissing in New York City.
Just days later, the couple posted a photo on Instagram of them kissing on a yacht, with the caption: ‘sweet sweet’.
A source close to the couple said at the time AND The New York resident was “very happy with Cody, and they are enjoying their relationship and the time they spend together.”
“Their friends and family are happy for both of them and think they make a great couple,” the insider said.
Since then, the two have been inseparable and have managed to keep their relationship private.
The adorable details about their relationship come just days after Julia Roberts’ cousin admitted she “doesn’t want to date actors anymore.”
Before dating the tall, handsome man who works in the entertainment industry, she had affairs with Alex Pettyfer, Garrett Hedlund and her American Horror Story co-star Evan Peters.
She said Show off: ‘One day the veil was lifted and I didn’t want to date actors anymore. It’s hard, I think, for two actors to be together.
“I wonder if I’ve seen it as successful,” she said, referring to her father, actor Eric Roberts, who has been married to Crack Me Up star Eliza Garrett for more than 30 years.

“Also, the actors that I worked with bordered on method actors, and that’s something that I find very difficult to relate to — at least for me, especially in terms of the characters that they played,” she told the outlet.
Emma has her only child, three-year-old son Rhodes, with her ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, whom she dated from 2019 to 2022.
She and Hedlund were first linked in April 2019 after she distanced herself from Dahmer star Evan Peters.
