Emma Roberts gently scolds her mother for sharing a photo of her son’s face
Emma Roberts responded in a loving way after her mother posted a photo of her two-year-old son, Rhodes, that showed the boy’s face.
Emma, who turned 32 on Friday, and her ex-partner Garrett Hedlund, 38, try to keep the boy out of the media, but the Maybe I Do star can’t always control what others are doing.
Mum Kelly Cunningham, who described herself as ‘Gramma to Rhodes’ in her Instagram bio, shared an adorable photo of her grandson last week, writing: ‘Little man is growing up!’
It took a while for the About Fate star, who was last seen at NYFW, to check out her mom’s account, as she’s been busy promoting her new rom-com and spending time in New York for Fashion Week.
However, on Thursday night, a scroll through her feed revealed the post.

Emma responded, using the same photo on her Instagram Stories, with the explanation: “When your mom posts your kid’s face without asking but you love them both so whatever,” followed by a heart emoji.
Kelly responded with a new exchange from that post, writing: ‘The battle continues! i love you !! Touch’♥️’
Other grandmothers expressed their sympathy, writing, ‘You tried! Too hard to hide that sweet face!
Another proud Nana said: ‘It must be so hard for you… when you have a beautiful grandson, you just want to show it to the world! All good mom! ❤️❤️it’s a side view.’
This was not the first time that Emma’s mother has exceeded her limits.
In 2020, Kelly broke the news of her daughter’s pregnancy.
“I kept my pregnancy pretty low key, but unfortunately my mom has Instagram. Which, moms and Instagram, is a bad combination,” the Holiday star revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this year.
‘She definitely spilled the beans.’

Describing the aftermath, the Abandoned actress said: “We had a few laughs. We got into a fight. I blocked it at one point.
Sharing parenting duties with Garrett, Emma has several projects in the works, including the highly anticipated Madame Web, co-starring Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson.
Meanwhile, the “The Road” singer just wrapped up the first season of Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone.
The versatile actor is currently working on a variety of projects, including Desperation Road with Mel Gibson.
