Chelsea boss Emma Hayes has been criticized for pushing Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall with fans and suggesting the FA should investigate the row after the match.
Hayes and Eidevall clashed after Arsenal came out on top Continental League cup final, with Stina Blackstenius scoring a 116th minute winner at Molineux.
The Chelsea boss could be seen pointing at her counterpart before shoving him after the match.
Eidevall had been involved in a confrontation with Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert in extra time over a disagreement over a throw-in.
Cuthbert had tried to use a new ball, but Eidevall had pointed out that the game was not played with a multi-ball system, which meant they had to collect the original ball that had gone out of play.

Hayes claims Eidevall showed ‘masculine aggression’ on the touchline and was criticized by some
Hayes has been criticized for shoving Eidevall after the match, with some claiming that the reaction would have been stronger if he had acted similarly towards Hayes.
“If you switch roles, that guy will get a 10-match touchline ban and be on the front page,” one fan claimed.
Another wrote: ‘Emma Hayes is a total disgrace, if it was the other way around it would be chaos! Fine her and ban her – but treat it the same damn way!”
“I wonder if the FA will turn a blind eye to Emma Haye’s disgraceful behavior yesterday,” a third added. “Emma, you’ve gained a lot of respect over the years, but yesterday you lost a lot of it.”
One supporter compared the incident to the infamous clash between former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel and then Tottenham boss Antonio Conte in the Premier League.
Tuchel was given a one-match touchline ban and fine by the FA over the 2022 incident.
Haye’s clash with Eidevall was downplayed by others, with claims the Chelsea boss stood his ground and her team.
The Chelsea boss was also criticized for using the words ‘male aggression’ to describe Eidevall’s behavior on the touchline.

Hayes and Eidevall gave differing opinions on their behavior in post-match interviews
“I think there’s a way to conduct yourself on the sidelines, I really do,” Hayes said. “I think it’s absolutely essential that we role model in the right way. I don’t feel like male aggression on the sidelines.’
‘That’s really not the case, and facing players is unacceptable to me. I am disappointed and I told Jonas so. I don’t think it’s okay to behave like this. He got a yellow card and probably should have been sent off.
“I’m all for fighting to win, I’ve never been booked in 12 years and I fully accept that he is a winner and wants to win, but his behavior on the sidelines was not acceptable.
‘I didn’t find the way he stood up to Erin acceptable.
‘I was clear against him, I didn’t think it was acceptable. It is not the first time he has been told about his behavior on the sidelines. I would like to congratulate Arsenal. They won and I don’t want the conversation to be about that.’
Eidevall responded by claiming Hayes’ comments were a “very irresponsible” way of describing his behavior, adding that there was “a way you behave after the match.”
“I definitely don’t see myself as aggressive in that situation, I think it is very irresponsible to put that label on it,” Eidevall said.
‘The argument we had was before the match: if both clubs agree to play a multi-ball system, the Conti Cup final will be played with a multi-ball system.

Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 after extra time to win the Continental League Cup at Molineux
‘Arsenal wanted to play with a multi-ball system, Chelsea wanted to play with a one-ball system. That is why the final was played with a one-ball system.
‘That incident that happened, the ball is kicked away and Chelsea want to take a new ball to throw in a quick throw-in and I said: ‘You wanted to play with one ball, now we have to take that ball’. Of course that doesn’t make Erin happy, that’s all I said in that situation.
‘If we decide to play with one ball, we play with one ball. I like to play multiball, the game is fast, but they didn’t want to do it and you can’t do it when it suits you.
“I think there’s definitely a way you behave technically, there’s also a way you behave after the match: be a good winner, but you also have to be a good loser and be responsible in both situations. I am happy with the way I conduct myself and others need to look in the mirror to see if they are happy with themselves.’
