Bunton also reflected on her unbreakable bond with her bandmates and friends, Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham.

She told MailOnline that she will always be close to the girls as they “have been through a lot together”.

After the group became the biggest girl band of all time, Bunton said, “No one else will understand that relationship between us.”

Emma added that her sons Tate Lee Jones, 11, and Beau Lee Jones, 14, are looking forward to visiting Australia.

“We’ve been through a lot and we’re still going through a lot, from the kids to the job,” Bunton said.

“There’s a bond there and it’s very, very strong.”

In December, Bunton reunited with Mel C when they took the stage together at the Theater Royal Drury Lane in London as part of their holiday tour.

Speaking about the reunion that got fans excited, Bunton said: “She’s a lot of fun and we spend a lot of time together and we’re on stage together.”

‘It’s just the absolute best time. It doesn’t feel like it was that long ago,” he said of his 1990s heyday.

“I got sick in the middle of the tour and lost my voice. It was heartbreaking and absolutely devastating, but the support I received from my fans was incredible,” Bunton said.

She said that performing again with Sporty Spice reminded her of when they used to perform together as part of the Spice Girls in the early days of their career.

“When I went back on stage with Mel C, you immediately go back to that moment and it feels very magical and like yesterday,” he said.
