Eminem has been called “sick and tasteless” for his reference to Alec Baldwin’s recording of Rust on a track from his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).
Baldwin, 66, is currently on trial in New Mexico in the October 21, 2021, death of camerawoman Halyna Hutchins, 42. Eminem used the new song Fuel to condemn the killing, which features lyrics about the murder.
In Fuel, Eminem, 51, raps: ‘But it’s in a holster, I’m gonna break it/ Just fuck around and get shot like Halyna Hutchins
“Like I’m Alec Baldwin, I mean beat you up, the coup de grace.”
Fans quickly took to social media to promote the song’s lyrics and the timing of its release, just days after Baldwin’s trial began.

Others wrote: ‘terrible’ and ‘tasteless’ about the song, while another wrote: ‘Eminem’s criticism of Halyna Hutchins and Alec Baldwin was not on my 2024 bingo card.’
Some fans praised the typically controversial star for his bold lyrics on his first album since 2020’s Music to Be Murdered By.
They wrote, “You love that Alec Baldwin bar lol…thanks for being you” and “Eminem proves ‘cancel culture’ doesn’t exist.”
Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – also surprised with the album track Antichrist, on which Diddy, Megan Thee Stallion, Kim Kardashian and Jeffrey Epstein were mentioned, among others.
The star also references mass murderer Nikolas Cruz, who killed 17 people in the 2018 Parkland High School shooting.
Referring to rapper Lil Uzi Vert – who has been accused of promoting Satanism – Eminem raps: ‘When I put a clip in Uzi, I’m itchin’ and I use it, and I look like Nikolas Cruz’
“My tractor is happy, honestly, Travis too, we’re getting rude.”
In Fuel, Eminem, 51, raps: “But it’s in a holster, I’m runnin’ with it/ Fuckin’ around and gettin’ shot like Halyna Hutchins ‘Like I’m Alec Baldwin, what I mean is take you down, coup de grâce then”
Baldwin, seen here outside the Santa Fe County sheriff’s office on the day of the shooting, was sensationally charged for the second time in January of this year

Diddy’s latest controversies have been touched upon in several new songs, with references to the 2016 surveillance footage that showed Diddy beating up his ex-girlfriend Cassie and allegations that the music executive blew up Kid Cudi’s car.
The footage of Diddy attacking Cassie in 2016 was referenced in the song Antichrist, in which Eminem raps, “next idiot ask me is gettin’ his a** beat worse than Diddy did.”
The rapper also addressed the recent controversies of the discredited Diddy

The star also references mass murderer Nikolas Cruz, who killed 17 people in the 2018 Parkland High School shooting
Eminem also mentioned the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion by Tory Lanez. ‘Where’s Megan Thee Stallion? I wanna suck that toe.’
“But for real, / She probably ran out the room with his fucking dildo / He tried to throw her a field goal, she told me to calm down / And now I stick it back in my ass and grab that steel toe,” the lyrics continue.
Diddy’s alleged altercation with Kid Cudi is referenced in the song Bad One.
In her explosive 2023 lawsuit against her ex, Cassie alleged that Diddy blew up Kid Cudi’s car around February 2012 in retaliation for the brief relationship she had with Cudi when she was feuding with the former Making The Band artist.
Cudi agreed with Cassie’s claims about the car bombing, telling the New York Times, “This is all true.”
The claim was one of several Cassie filed in her 2023 lawsuit against Diddy. Last year, she accused Combs of rape and a series of other offenses. They settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount.
Eminem brought up the alleged car bombing, rapping on Bad One, “The f**king bomb with the Puffy on/That I blow up in front of Kid Cudi’s car/In front of his house where all his friends are.”
Diddy has been under fire lately with numerous lawsuits accusing him of sexual abuse and more. He has denied all allegations against him.
Earlier this year, his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were also searched by federal agents as part of a sex trafficking investigation.
In May, the video came to light showing him brutally abusing his ex Cassie.
Late sex offender and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was mentioned in the song – with Eminem naming his infamous jet – the ‘Lolita Express’, which he used to transport underage girls and had the likes of Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Prince Andrew on board
The rapper apologized on Instagram, saying, “I hit rock bottom but I don’t make excuses. It’s so hard to look back on the darkest times of your life, sometimes you have to. I was fucked up.”
“I mean, I’ve hit rock bottom, but I’m not making excuses, my behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, I’m disgusted by it.”
The late sex offender and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was mentioned on the track – with Eminem mentioning his infamous jet – named the ‘Lolita Express’ – which he was used to transport underage girls and transported Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Prince Andrew, among others.
A shocking line Eminem raps is: ‘Try not to be seen with Ben Affleck, me and Seth Green
‘Jeffrey Epstein holds on to the left wing, the fighter jets scream (Hey! Don’t forget me, haha).’
He announced he would release his twelfth studio album in April, just over a month after the rapper who discovered him, Dr. Dre, hinted at a new album coming out this year.
Dr. Dre (born Andre Young), 59, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in March, where he previewed Eminem’s new album.
“Let me just explain something to you right now. Eminem is working on his own album that’s coming out this year and I spoke to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement here on this show,” Dre explained.
Dre added, “I have songs on it and it’s amazing. I’m going to hear the whole album for the first time tomorrow.
‘He keeps his music close to his chest, so I didn’t hear him all the way through [that he has produced on the album] but I’m going to hear it and he’s releasing an album this year’.
