Eminem said he had to “curs” in his rap music to sell records, but it appears the king of cursing has been overtaken by another king.
New study analyzed Over 90 of the top Billboard 100 artists and over 3,632 songs covering multiple genres to discover who has the foulest mouth.
While Eminem has long held the title, Drake took the crown with 2,289 curse words in his music, beating the previous champion by 439.
The data showed that Drake uttered expletives in all 45 songs, with the most frequently used song being “sh*t.”

The study was conducted before Preblyan online language learning marketplace, aims to find out which artists use the most slang and swear words in their music.
Drake and Eminem ranked first, followed by J. Cole with 1,632 obscene words, and Nicki Minaj came in fourth place with 1,612 obscene words.
Kendrick Lamar (1,281), Kanye West (1,110), DJ Khaled (948), Future (939), Tyler the Creator (600), and Lil Uzi Vert (552) completed the list.
However, Drake and Eminem did coin slang words that have since been added to the Oxford English Dictionary – “YOLO” and “stan.”
The chart-topping Canadian rapper popularized the term “YOLO,” short for “You Only Live Once,” in 2017.

Eminem released a song called “Stan” in 2000 about an obsessive fan – the word now means “stalker.”
However, the Missouri rapper was found to have the most extensive vocabulary with over 8,000 unique words, meaning one out of every five words is unique.
Drake came in second place in terms of the largest vocabulary, with more than 6,900 unique words.
“Taylor Swift is known for telling stories through her songs, which helps her connect with fans around the world,” the report read.
The singer came in seventh place for the most extensive vocabulary, with more than 3,800 unique words – one in every nine of Swift's words is unique.
Eminem also ranked highest for most slang words used – he has over 404 words in his songs.
