Emily Ratajkowski says there’s a link between Diddy and the Menendez brothers
Emily Ratajkowski draws a connection between Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and the Menendez brothers. She says both cases have to do with the shame that comes with sexual abuse of men.
The 33-year-old model took to TikTok to share her theory about the connection between the jailed rapper and the Menendez brothers, who claim they killed their parents after being sexually abused by their father.
“I think we need to have a conversation about male sexual abuse,” she said, adding that Diddy “was able to hide from the public eye for so long because a lot of his victims are men.”
“Our culture views male sexual assault as extremely degrading.”
Ratajkowski made the comments earlier this week while discussing the Netflix series Monsters, which has been criticized for inaccurately portraying Erik and Lyle as having mutual incest.

Ratajkowski recalled an interview from decades ago in which Erik denied being gay and suggested that homophobia played a role among the men on the jury at their 1996 trial, in which the defense unsuccessfully argued that the brothers murdered their parents after years of sexual abuse.
According to the model, some assumed that Erik “probably wanted it himself” because his sexuality was questioned “because of what his father did to him” and that “it’s really, really scary.”
According to Ratajkowski, the cycle of victims becoming perpetrators is also visible in the case of Diddy, and in that of disgraced singer and convicted child molester R. Kelly, who has testified that he was sexually abused as a child.
“To be clear, I’m not trying to excuse these people. I’m just saying there are ways to break this cycle,” she added.
‘I’ve seen it in my own life, with men that I know who have had really unhealthy sexual tendencies and behaviors, and they’ve said, “Oh, that’s just how men are. We just naturally have these weird sexual tendencies that women don’t have.” Which is such an excuse. And then it turns out that they’ve been sexually abused.
“I really hope we start talking about this more, so that men and boys feel more comfortable talking about this.”

Ryan Murphy has been criticized for letting his brothers Erik and Lyle Menendez kiss in his new Netflix series Monsters
This comes as Diddy remains in custody in New York without bail on federal charges that he ran a vast network that facilitated sex crimes and committed shocking acts of violence, using blackmail and other tactics to protect the rapper and those close to him.
Prosecutors allege Diddy organized events called “Freak Offs” where he drugged women and male sex workers to induce them to perform sexual acts. These acts could last for days and required participants to have IVs.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His attorney said he is innocent and will fight to clear his name.
