The model, 32, rang in the new year in the Cayman Islands wrapped in an oversized leather jacket for warmth, which she wore over a leopard print midi skirt.

She kept her impeccable sense of style by completing the look with a pair of knee-high heels and a chunky scarf.

The mother-of-one completed the ensemble with red oversized sunglasses and looked deep in thought as she walked the streets of the Big Apple.

Emily – who has been separated from her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, for four years – recently revealed that she hopes to inspire other young divorced women by writing about her own experiences.

The model married film producer Sebastian in 2018 and they welcomed a son Bear together, two, three years later, before splitting in July 2022.

He is rumored to have cheated on her and is also currently facing sexual misconduct allegations from multiple women in September 2022.

Speaking to Vogue Australia, she said she would like to undo some of the ‘stigma’ surrounding divorce.

She said: ‘I can’t believe there aren’t more books about failed first marriages. “I’ve read a lot of literature on divorce, but it’s usually about families ending after the children grow up,” she told the publication.

Emily added: ‘I think so many women are getting divorced at a younger age, and it’s such a taboo and there’s such a stigma around it.’

Since her divorce, Emily has been romantically linked to several people, including Harry Styles and Eric Andre.

Earlier this month, Emily also revealed that she is constantly battling the ‘voice’ of her inner critic.

She admitted this while chatting during a video Q&A session, and was asked to describe her approach to “self-love.”

The outing comes after she revealed she is in a constant battle with her inner critic’s ‘voice’ and has a complicated relationship with self-love

“My relationship with self-love is complicated. I think it’s a journey and I think there’s an internal voice that you have to constantly encourage in a way that it’s a lot of work, and it doesn’t always come,” she shared.

When asked how she practices self-love, Emily went on to say, “I think I’ve gotten better at catching myself when I have such a contradictory voice… and realizing that I’m putting myself down.

‘I think it’s also a kind of philosophy. You need a broader macro philosophy around finding joy in your life and realizing that you are you, and this is the only life you have.

“So to realize that you can enjoy the life you’re given means you have to love yourself and be kind to yourself.”
