Emily Ratajkowski talked about the state of the Me Too movement in a new TikTok video she shared with her 1.8 million followers earlier on Friday.

The supermodel, 31, shared how she believes it hasn’t made any significant change in the world.

The mother of one supported her point of view by explaining that there was a lack of progress because “men fear the consequences” of their actions rather than understand “why they need to change their actions.”

The Gone Girl actress uploaded a one-minute video where she discussed how she felt other changes needed to be made.

‘Me Too hasn’t changed the world. Cancel culture hasn’t changed things,” she began, adding, “All we have now are men who are afraid of the consequences.”

The model then gave an example of her own feelings as a mother. “And as a parent, I can tell you that if you want to teach your child something, like not to hit other kids, you don’t want them not to hit other kids because they’re afraid of timeout.”

“You don’t want them hitting other kids because they have empathy and they understand it’s no fun hurting other kids because it’s going to hurt those kids and they don’t want to hurt other kids,” she continued.

The talented star, who shares one-year-old son Sylvester with Sebastian, closed the clip by adding, “I think they’re just afraid of the consequences of their actions.

“They don’t really understand fundamentally why they need to change their actions. So that’s not progress.’
