EMILY PRESCOTT: US marketing executive Noelle Reno is seen with new man – a decade after her real estate mogul lover was ‘killed by Russian mobster in London balcony trap’

Her ex-boyfriend, real estate mogul Scot Young, was rumored to have been killed by a Russian mobster when he fell from the balcony of his central London flat in 2014 aged 52.

So I’m glad to see that Noelle Reno has put the past behind her and seems to be enjoying a new relationship.

American marketing executive Noelle, 39 – pictured below with Scot in 2014 – was spotted leaving London’s glitzy Dorchester hotel on the arm of property developer Simon Lyons last week.

As a precaution against the unpredictable August weather, Noelle donned a black fur waistcoat and calf-length biker boots while Lyons wore a black baseball cap.

Lyons, 43, was found guilty of punching Giles Mackay, one of Britain’s richest men, in the face at Mayfair’s MNKY HSE bar in 2018, for which he was fined Β£3,000 and given a one-year restraining order got. Let’s hope their future looks a little brighter!

Simon Lyons claimed he lashed out because Giles Mackay called him “a lying shy Jew.”

But a judge ruled that the attack on the MNKY HSE bar was unprovoked. She found Lyons guilty of common assault.

CCTV footage showed the Canadian-born entrepreneur beating Mr Mackay before being pulled away by door staff at the venue popular with celebrities such as Kate Moss. Mr. Mackay is seen kicking out to protect himself as Lyons attempted to continue the attack.

In 2020, it was alleged that Noelle Reno’s ex-boyfriend Scot Young was the “go-to fixer” of Vladimir Putin’s nemesis Boris Berezovsky and laundered the Russian oligarch’s money before they both died under mysterious circumstances within a year of each other.

Mr Young, who was once worth up to Β£800 million before filing for bankruptcy, died after jumping the railing under his Β£3 million London penthouse in December 2014 after repeatedly warning police and friends that hitmen with links to Moscow wanted him dead.

A year after his fatal fall, a coroner ruled that Scot’s death at age 52 could not be termed a suicide due to “insufficient evidence” – but the Met concluded it was not suspicious.

Investigative journalist Heidi Blake wrote the book ‘From Russia with Blood’ in which he claimed that Scot was in ‘enormous danger’ of laundering money for Berezovsky and his wealthy Russian friends who had fled to Britain.

She also believed Scot made millions after he stumbled upon a tax loophole that allowed him to move money to Britain without penalty if he admitted to HMRC that it all came from crimes committed abroad.

Ms Blake told BBC Scotland at the time: ‘Scot joined a large organized crime group and started laundering money for them.

He became the go-to fixer for Berezovsky and his associates as they sought ways to stash their ill-gotten money in an extraordinary array of luxury British properties, vehicles, private jets and helicopters.

β€œHe really helped Berezovsky with his money in the UK and made a whole series of very risky real estate deals for Berezovsky in Russia itself.

So he exposed himself to tremendous danger as part of that role and eventually he fell from a window of his fourth floor apartment in Marylebone, London and was impaled on the spikes of a wrought iron gate below.

“This after warning the police and his friends and family for years that he was being targeted by Russian assassins.”

Scot was part of a group of five friends – all of whom achieved enormous wealth from deals they brokered – who all met sudden, violent deaths within four years of each other.

They were real estate moguls Paul Castle and Robbie Curtis; ex-rock executive Johnny Elichaoff and Berezovsky, found dead at his Berkshire home in 2013 with a ligature around his neck.

Mr. Young had told friends he was afraid someone would try to kill him because there was “a bounty on his head.”

He spent eight months in prison in 2013 after a judge jailed him for contempt of court for failing to reveal the whereabouts of the Β£400 million fortune at the center of his seven-year divorce battle with his wife.

The Dundee-born Scotsman made his wealth from real estate and telecom gambling – but he also reportedly made large sums as a fixer for the super-rich.

He lived a lavish life himself, drove around in luxury sports cars and wore designer clothes.

He married Michelle Young in 1995 and had two children, Scarlet and Sasha, who lived on a 200 acre, 12 bedroom plot in Surrey.

Ms Young had previously claimed he was ‘worth at least a few billion’ and said her husband had hidden assets of more than Β£400m in offshore accounts.

Things started to turn sour in 2006 and a lengthy divorce battle ensued – with Scot agreeing to marry an American-born model.

But this never happened, as in 2014 he was found impaled on railings in Montagu Square, London.

The cause of his death was never determined, and a 2015 inquest declined to label it a suicide.

In 2017, it was revealed that Scotland Yard had received a transcript of a telephone conversation between Mr and Mrs Young that took place five weeks before his death.

In the conversation, she said she had discovered ties between him and exiled Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky. But he warned her to stop investigating his contacts and his life was in danger.

Scot Young helped hide his Β£500 million fortune from his wife “in a game of hide and seek” after instructing a Panama-based law firm, documents leaked in 2016 revealed.

The British tycoon used Mossack Fonseca and other offshore companies to stash his assets in Russia, the British Virgin Islands and Monaco.
