EMILY PRESCOTT: Sarah Ferguson ‘confused’ over goddaughter’s wedding photos as she ‘bagged a seat’
EMILY PRESCOTT: Sarah Ferguson ‘confused’ after seeing pictures of her goddaughter’s wedding she thought she was invited to…but she’s going to her wedding bells prom!
Sarah Ferguson was so elated that her goddaughter Eliza Dodd-Noble was engaged to friend Hannah Crockett, she claimed she had already “snacked a seat” at the wedding.
So it’s no wonder Fergie was “a little confused” when she saw pictures of their civil ceremony this week, which appeared to have taken place without her.
I can reveal that musician Eliza married food blogger Hannah last weekend in Los Angeles.
When I asked Fergie about this, she admitted she thought the wedding would take place in Ibiza – and in May.
Thankfully, it turns out the Duchess of York, 63, wasn’t snubbed after all and is enjoying her weekend away.
HAPPY COUPLE: Eliza Dodd-Noble, left, with wife Hannah Crockett during their civil ceremony in Los Angeles

A source close to the newlyweds tells me that the nuptials were just the legal wedding ceremony and that the larger four-day celebration, which Fergie has been invited to, will take place in Ibiza this summer.
Eliza, who proposed to American Hannah in July 2021 at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, is half of the electronic music duo Eli & Fur, along with fellow DJ Jennifer Skillman.
Given their illustrious credentials — they’ve starred in several Christian Dior runway shows and collaborated with fashion brands such as Stella McCartney and The Kooples — there seems little doubt that the ongoing Spanish affair will be a weekend of partying.
Missing Eliza and Hannah’s legal wedding across the pond in Los Angeles would have denied Fergie the chance to spend time with cousin Harry and his wife Meghan, who live less than two hours away from where it took place .
Last week, the Duchess showed her diplomatic side when she revealed she had made “no judgement” about the Sussexes’ stepping down from the royal family.
