EMILY PRESCOTT: Princess Kate has a secret body double in Chelsea boutique Catherine Walker
The Princess of Wales is such a valued client for Catherine Walker that I hear she even has her own bespoke mannequin in the label’s Chelsea boutique.
The couture firm is behind many of the princess’ most-loved outfits, including this teal coat dress below, and the mannequin is made from Kate’s exact measurements, just in case she needs a dress quickly.
She has worn the fashion company’s creations on several important occasions, including Prince Philip’s funeral.
Ms Walker, who died in 2010, was a friend of Princess Diana – the two struck up a partnership after she designed the maternity clothes Diana wore to announce the birth of Prince William.
The label kept a respectful silence when asked for comment, but I have no doubt we’ll continue to see his style legacy well into the future.

Gary Goldsmith is so determined to hear the story behind the sale of his sister Carole’s Party Pieces company that he’s arranged an interview with the buyer for his new podcast.
Gary, the uncle of the Princess of Wales, is targeting leisure magnate James Sinclair for one of the first episodes of Pints Of View. Despite the name, Gary and his guests won’t slosh. He tells me, “We’re on non-alcoholic pints, so we can get through!”
Carole sold to Mr Sinclair last month after the company went bankrupt with reported debts of £2.6million.
Hayley Atwell, 41, will star alongside Tom Cruise in the next Mission: Impossible movie
Hayley is on a new mission
It may be London’s poshest club, but all Hollywood star Hayley Atwell was hoping to duet with Leonardo DiCaprio at Annabel’s 60th birthday party.
Hayley tells me she was dying to do a rendition of My Heart Will Go On with the Titanic star.
Leo, who was in London last week, visits the club often, but sneaks in and out through a back door.
Hayley, 41, left, starring with ex-beau Tom Cruise in the next Mission: Impossible movie, has been impressed by the club before.
“It’s the first place I saw Lady Gaga – an iconic person in an iconic setting,” she says.
