Action film star Kate Beckinsale is a hardcore fitness fan and goes to the gym six times a week.

But even that doesn’t seem enough for the 50-year-old, who has turned her kitchen into a makeshift exercise room for some impromptu extra training.

The British actress, who is worth an estimated £20 million, last week shared a video with her six million Instagram followers of herself doing strength exercises against kitchen cupboards while wearing a pink sports bra and track pants.

But she deleted it some time later.

This budget training was quite a change for Kate, pictured left at a gala event in Cannes last year.

Her vigorous exercise regime often includes weighted sled workouts, which burn up to 100 calories per minute, and in 2019 her personal trainer revealed that she hits the gym six days a week to work out non-stop for an hour.

The actress is recovering from a tear in her esophagus earlier this year, which required her to stay in hospital for six weeks.

She has been in Italy filming her next film, Stolen Girl, based on a true story of child abduction.

Boris Johnson’s ex-aide Cleo Watson has been forced to apologize to friends who were expecting an invite to the launch party for her second political bonkbuster, Cleavage.

A source close to the 32-year-old Top Boy star told me she was in talks with the retailer, saying: ‘She is loving being pregnant and loves showing off her bump. The H&M team discussed a capsule collection she designed for their maternity line.”

Adwoa – who also runs mental health charity Gurls Talk – is expecting her first child with American skater Daniel Wheatley and the new range could be ready as soon as this summer.

Fashion designer Alice Temperley might as well change her name to Dr. Dolittle, because her rescue of animals seems to never end.

Socialite artist Nettie Wakefield is backing a campaign to stop tech giants Facebook and Instagram from using people’s photos on social media to ‘develop and improve’ their AI tools.

While there is a little-noticed option to opt out of the program, Nettie (left) says, “Apparently AI is automatically trained in everything we do on the social media platforms.”

She’s used to having all eyes on her, so I wonder why Natalie Portman was decidedly camera shy during her visit to the Beatles Museum in Liverpool?

The Hollywood star banned staff, including museum owner Roag Best – the brother of original Beatles drummer Pete Best – from taking photos of her at the venue.

This also meant the 42-year-old could not be added to the museum’s Wall of Fame-style gallery of famous faces.

The museum’s social media page later called out the Black Swan actress, who appeared in one of Sir Paul McCartney’s music videos, for her coyness, prompting fans to criticize her actions.

The owners of Drayton House in Northamptonshire, where the black comedy Saltburn was filmed, have complained about the unwanted attention the film has brought.

But Fiona, Countess of Carnarvon and chatelaine of Highclere Castle – also known as Downton Abbey – has little sympathy. Rather sensibly, Lady Carnarvon says: ‘If you make something like a film, of course it might attract some attention – so if you don’t want attention then maybe you shouldn’t have made the film. It’s just a logical progression of the thought process.”

The Downton cast and crew have descended on Highclere once again to film a third film, much to Fiona’s delight.

She talks about the catering coffee cart and says: ‘It’s wonderful to have everyone back.’
