EMILY PRESCOTT: Kate Moss’s ‘naked’ dress sells for THOUSANDS at auction after the supermodel flaunted her body in it next to Naomi Campbell

She had never worn it before, but Kate Moss’s association with a see-through dress meant it fetched £2,200 at auction.

Liza Bruce’s lamé slip dress was expected to fetch £300 at Kerry Taylor Auctions’ sale in London last week.

But it’s identical to the one Kate, now 50, infamously wore to a Look of the Year party with a young Naomi Campbell in 1993.

The sheer dress made headlines, but Kate said: ‘I didn’t know it was see-through until the pictures appeared in the papers the next day. The photographers’ flashes made it look naked.’

Mariella is afraid of the family fog

She had the steel to become one of Britain’s most successful female broadcasters, but Mariella Frostrup, 61, is still working up the courage to get tested for dementia.

“Both my mother and my grandmother have dementia, and every time I get brain fog I think, ‘That’s it!’ They are going to take me away,” said mother of two Mariella.

And he added: ‘Until recently they couldn’t give you anything if they found out you had it – so why would you want to know?’ But now I think there is a good reason to get it checked, so I’m gathering courage.’

They say your bookshelf is a real giveaway to your influences and interests in life – but perhaps Formula 1 motorsport presenter Natalie Pinkham’s was a little too revealing this week.

An illustrated copy of the Hindu sex manual the Kama Sutra was spotted on the shelf behind Natalie 46, right, during a Sky Sports chat from home.

An eagle-eyed fan called her out about it online. In response to the tweet, a presumably blushing Natalie replied “Omg” – alongside the crying emoji.

Writer William Cash hasn’t had much luck with dogs. When his herding lady Lady Laura Cathcart’s prized pug was lost in a storm, he ran out in the middle of the night, with his pockets stuffed with cash, in an attempt to buy an identical one.

Since then, another has tragically died and the couple have now lost their beloved pug Thistle, who passed away last week.

So the couple is looking for another – and has very specific requirements.

“We are desperate for a little black pug, preferably the smallest of the litter,” he tells me.

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Daisy Lowe has a new rival as a leading model: her sister Betty Goffey, 19.

Betty, in a lace dress from her fashion designer mother Pearl Lowe’s collection, wants to follow Daisy, 35, and be signed by a top modeling agency.

Pearl, 54, has launched her first line of lingerie, including high-waisted panties.

“I prefer high-waisted panties that hide a multitude of sins,” says former singer Pearl.

Hail Jodie, Printer of Hollywood

Jodie Foster already has two Oscars to her name and now she has cemented her place in Tinseltown history – by leaving her footprints in concrete outside the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

The Taxi Driver star relied on the goodwill of her photographer wife Alexandra Hedison to attend the cementing ceremony at the 15th annual TCM Classic Film Festival.

It took place on the couple’s tenth wedding anniversary and Jodie, 61, thanked her for giving up their special day.

Alexandra may be a big supporter of Jodie’s career, but her sons Charlie and Kit, shared with her ex Cydney Bernard, are apathetic about her stardom.

Jodie, pictured at the ceremony, said: ‘They’re very blasé about it. They don’t seem very interested.’
