EMILY PRESCOTT: Joan Collins, 90, poses outside Le Club 55 as she reveals the secret to always providing a table

It is one of St. Tropez’s most exclusive restaurants and recommends making reservations two months in advance unless you are Joan Collins. In a video message to her Instagram followers, 90-year-old Joan poses in front of Le Club 55 and reveals how she can make sure a table is always hers.

Joan — seen below on Le Club with husband Percy, 58, and artist Tracey Emin — jokes that her star power gives her an “in,” adding that she’s “so hot, so hot.” She is then embarrassed after accepting a fan – with the words “f*** off” – from a friendly passerby who overhears her. Joan then exclaims, “Oh God, how dare you!”

Piers left out in the cold

While Jeremy Corbyn got the VIP treatment last week at a talk by climate activist Greta Thunberg at London’s Royal Festival Hall, the same can’t be said for his brother, who is a conspiracy theorist. Piers Corbyn, 76, was left outside in the rain leading a one-man protest and I’m afraid no one could hear his message anyway – his megaphone was broken! Meanwhile, 74-year-old Jeremy hasn’t exactly polished his credentials as a ‘man of the people’ – he was ushered out of a VIP exit afterwards to avoid queuing with the public.

And on the outside comes Alice Temperley! The fashionista, loved by A-listers like the Princess of Wales and Madonna, designed the jockey side for the Magnolia Cup charity race at Glorious Goodwood on Friday.

For the all-female race, Alice, left, reached into her archive to select outfits for the riders – winner Annabelle Hadden-Wight wore an eye-catching zebra-print number.

Hopefully, this chance to showcase her talent can revive Alice’s fortunes, as one of her company’s finances left £388,000 in debt last year.
