EMILY PRESCOTT: Has Gordon’s daughter Holly Ramsay struck gold with Olympian champion Adam Peaty?

One is Britain’s greatest swimmer, the other the daughter of television’s most foul-mouthed chef, but somehow Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have found their way into each other’s hearts.

The pair exchanged flirty messages on Instagram, as the Olympic champion has apparently won the approval of Holly’s family.

Gordon, his wife Tana and Holly’s sister Tilly all now follow the gold medalist on social media, and he follows them back.

Last night, the couple’s reps refused to deny they were dating.

Last week, 23-year-old Holly posted a selfie showing herself preparing for a night out at the Cannes Film Festival wearing only a hotel coat. Adam posted a sweaty face emoji, suggesting he found the image hot, prompting Holly to reply that she was “too shy,” which he liked.

Days earlier, Adam, 28, posted a fire emoji, which has a similar meaning, on another photo, to which Holly replied with a heart.

Adam’s ties to the Ramsay family date back to 2021 when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing with Tilly, and was eliminated after losing a dance-off to her.

Both Holly and Adam have struggled with mental health and alcohol addiction. In April Adam pulled out of the British Swimming Championships and last week said: ‘A good friend of mine said a gold medal is the coldest thing you’ll ever wear…because you think it will solve all your problems. [and] it will not.’

In December, Holly celebrated two years of sobriety, having hit “rock bottom” earlier.

She also started 21 & Over, a podcast for people with anxiety.

Adam has a three-year-old son, George, with his ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro. The couple split last August, three months before rumors of a romance between Holly and Adam first surfaced.

Both declined to comment last night.
