EMILY PRESCOTT: Angelina Jolie was ‘over the moon’ to be made a grand dame by the late queen for her humanitarian work
She’s already the queen of Hollywood, so it seems fitting that Angelina Jolie can boast her own iconic royal property.
Jolie, 47 – made an honorary grand dame by the late Queen for her humanitarian work – has been presented with a box, modeled after the box used by monarchs to receive important government papers, by her friend Baroness Arminka Helic, pictured behind Angelina.
My source says the box is inscribed with the cipher of the Order of St Michael and St George and Angelina was “over the moon” to receive it.

Millie’s new surprise
Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown makes sure the surprises come thick and fast. Just after announcing her engagement to actor Jake Bongiovi, son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, 19-year-old Millie – left with Jake – has written a novel based on her family history.
It’s called Nineteen Steps and is published by HarperCollins. Set in London during World War II, it promises star-crossed lovers and tangled secrets. Unfortunately, it won’t be out until September, so we’ll have to wait to find out what Millie’s ancestors have been up to.
