Emily In Paris season four trailer: Lily Collins’ character embraces newly-single life as she tries to steer clear of THAT love triangle… but will she find her way back to Alfie or Gabriel?
The Emily in Paris The season four trailer reveals the love triangle between Lily Collins’ character Emily and Alfie and Gabriel.
In part 1 of the hit Netflix series, airing August 15, Emily tries to avoid her dual romances and focus on herself.
As she wanders through the city of love, Emily encounters many “handsome men” and realizes she needs to gain “new experiences” after last season’s failed romances.
But as she tries to embrace life as a newly single woman, Emily can’t help but think back to her relationships with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).
Her best friend Mindy Chen (Ashley Park) continues to insist that “no relationship is perfect” and Emily asks her for advice, so she runs back into the love triangle to find the right one.

Emily is in a difficult position, saying, “I really thought I could put them behind me, but they both mean a lot to me, for different reasons.”
Mindy says, “Don’t overthink it.”
At work, Emily clashes again with her boss Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) when her blogging and love life collide with her office work.
The first five shows will be available from August 15. Viewers will have to wait almost a whole month for the second part, which will be available on September 12.
Emily hasn’t exactly had any luck with dating since moving from Chicago to Paris to pursue her dream job in marketing.
She fell in love with her neighbor Gabriel, despite the fact that the chef had an on-again, off-again relationship with her good friend Camille.
Her romance with Brit Alfie came to a dramatic end when Camille refused to marry Gabriel in the final episode of season three, revealing that she had always known about his hidden feelings for Emily.
There are still secrets to be revealed, such as Camille’s affair with artist Sofia. Emily knows about it, but Gabriel knows nothing about it.

And then there’s the big reveal of Camille’s pregnancy, which makes it even harder to imagine a possible romance between Emily and Gabriel.
Emily In Paris was created by Sex and the City writer Darren Star, who has admitted he understands why viewers are drawing comparisons between Lily’s character and Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker.
He said: ‘I can see why people connect the two shows. They’re both set in a glamorous city with a female lead, but the idea of Emily In Paris was very different. I’ve wanted to write a show about an expat living in Paris for a while.’
Lucien called the series “chaotic” and “heartbreaking,” while Philippine gave a sneak peek by saying the new episodes will be all about “revenge.”
In May, Lily announced, “Season four comes out on August 15th for part one. Part two comes out on September 12th, you’re welcome.”
In an accompanying video, Lily and her co-stars gave three words for how they would describe the new series. Camille Razat, 30, whose character discovered she was pregnant at the end of season three, said it was “messy.”
