After Marcello helped her down the mountain, she ended her relationship with Gabriel. She was tired of feeling like she was second to Camille.
Later in the season, Marcello joined the team and quickly became her new love interest.
After their date in Paris, she visited him in Rome and things seemed to move quickly. She went with him to visit his small hometown of Solitano, where she learned more about his family.
The finale ended with a great new opportunity for Emily: she was going to head up an office in Rome. Sylvie encouraged Emily to do so, not only so she could stay in beautiful Italy, but also to be closer to her new husband.
