Emily Atack has revealed that she turns to poetry to help her deal with personal struggles.
The actress and comedian, 32, took to Instagram on Saturday to share her favorite poem, before admitting that “it’s been difficult lately.”
Reflecting on her hard times, Emily shared how the poem reminds her to “appreciate little moments of joy” before urging her fans not to miss such moments.

Emily shared an image of Wendy Cope’s poem The Orange, which reads in part, “That orange made me so happy, as ordinary things often do. Only lately. The shopping. A walk in the park, this is peace and contentment. It’s new.’
Alongside the full poem, Emily wrote, “Lately it’s been hard. In more ways than one, for so many people.
“One thing I have found a great love for is poetry, and whenever I come across some personal struggles myself, I turn to them, and I remembered this poem today. One of my absolute favorites – The Orange by Wendy Cope.

In addition to her caption and poem, the former Inbetweeners star shared a series of images of the things that brought her joy, including cuddling a horse and her beloved pet.
Emily also uploaded snaps such as photographing fruit, reading a book in a cafe, dining with loved ones and visiting a coffee shop in Spain.
Emily’s reference to her “hard time” may have to do with the fact that she reportedly split from her boyfriend Liam McGough just two months after she went Instagram official with him.

The star is believed to have recently parted ways with former Big Brother contestant and tree surgeon, 37.
A source told The sun: ‘Emily and Liam have been friends for a long time and were together for seven months, but have unfortunately decided to split up.
“They kept their relationship private for a while and didn’t go out until the news broke that they were together.
“Unfortunately a few days ago they decided they were better off as friends and broke up, but it’s all very amicable.”

Liam was a housemate on Big Brother’s 2007 series, where he finished in third place, losing to winner Brian Belo.
Emily has been linked with a number of men in recent months, including comedian and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Seann Walsh, and footballer Jack Grealish, 26.
The TV star and Manchester City footballer Jack is said to have enjoyed a six-week secret fling while he was still dating his girlfriend Sasha Attwood – something the pair have vehemently denied.
