Emily Atack and Kimberley Walsh couldn’t hide their emotions as they watched an inspiring young girl receive a Pride Of Britain Award.
The TV star, 32, and the former Girls Aloud singer, 40, could be seen wiping away tears as they sat in the audience at Sunday night’s event.
Elizabeth Soffe, eight, suffered life-threatening burns to her body as a baby when she was almost six months old in the bed fire.

On the humble evening, Elizabeth received the Child Of Courage after raising £200,000 for the hospital where she was being treated for her burns.
Kimberley looked tearful as Elizabeth took the stage, while Emily had tears streaming down her cheeks during the emotional moment.
As she took to the stage to receive her award, Elizabeth was asked by presenter Carol Vorderman what she would say to anyone struggling.

Elizabeth, who lost most of her fingers and part of her nose and an ear during the event, kindly replied, “People who are mean to you don’t understand that you are better than them on the inside.”
“It doesn’t matter what you look like, it’s all about being nice.”
She was presented with the award by the cast of Strictly Come Dancing.

Years after the tragic fire caused by a malfunctioning air conditioner in their Qatar home, Elizabeth raised thousands for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Elizabeth’s father Liam said, ‘Her mother went in and the room was on fire. The bed was on fire. Elizabeth was on fire.’
Elizabeth’s mother added: ‘She is amazing, she amazes us every day and the fact that she wants to help others is just so for her. This award means the world to her – and to us.’
