One user unfairly commented: ‘Mother of dragons what happened to you’, while another added: ‘What’s with those hairs, they are worse than mine right now’.
Emilia’s fans then ran to her defense, with one gushing, “This is by far the most beautiful woman in Hollywood,” while a second added, “You always put the biggest smile on my face!”
A third added: “Thank you for laughing so hard Emilia, you make the world brighter.”
“Beautiful: Real smile lines on an IG photo,” added a fourth user.
Emilia has previously shared her thoughts on aging during an interview with ELLE in 2021, admitting that a facialist told her she needed fillers when she was just 28 years old.
She said, “You have this idea of aging, and then you have this idea of how getting older makes you look.”
“At 34, I’m wiser, smarter, I’ve had more experience, I’ve done all these things and I’m proud of it. You can only do that because you are the age you are. Time is the only thing that allows you to do those things.
“So if my face is going to reflect the time I’ve spent on this earth, I’m willing to do it.”

It comes after Emilia revealed that she would cry before sex scenes with Jason Momoa on Game of Thrones, as she didn’t know about nudity before accepting the role.
The star played Daenerys Targaryen on the hit fantasy series and admitted she was “terrified” of the sex scenes because she “didn’t know what to do.”
Emilia, who was only 23 at the time, was “fresh out of drama school” and had “never been on a film set before” and had to strip naked in front of “all those people”.
speaking in the Expert Armchair with Dax Shepard podcast in 2019, Emilia said, “I took the job and then they sent me the scripts and I was reading them, and I was like, ‘Oh, there’s the kicker!’
“But I just got out of drama school and approached it as a job: if it’s in the script, then it’s clearly necessary.
“I’ve never been on a film set like this before and now I’m on a film set stark naked with all these people, and I don’t know what I’m meant to do, and I don’t know what’s expected of me, and I don’t know what you want, and I don’t know what I want.
“Regardless of nudity or not, I would have gone through that first season thinking I’m not worth demanding anything. I’m not worth needing anything at all.
However, he credited Jason, 43, who plays Khal Drogo, with making the filming as easy as possible, as he was feeling “impostor syndrome”.
