Emergency services rushed to Heathrow this morning when a female passenger died following an airborne cardiac arrest.
The London Ambulance Service was called to Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 and boarded United Airlines flight UA880 from the US at 7:07 am.
Two bicycle paramedics and an incident response officer have recovered the body of a woman from the flight departing from Houston.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 6.33am today (October 5) following reports of a passenger who had suffered cardiac arrest on board a flight due to arrive at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2.
‘We sent two bicycle rescuers and an incident response officer. Unfortunately, a woman was pronounced dead on the spot.’
Police were called to Greater London airport and boarded United Airlines flight UA880 from the US to the UK at 7:07am on arrival at Terminal 2 (stock image)
